David Cousins, B.A.Sc., P.Eng.

President

Mr. Cousins has over 35 years of experience in the evaluation and restoration of existing buildings and structures.  As President of Davroc, he is responsible for the direction of engineers and support staff in the development and design of building restoration programs and repair methods, the preparation of technical specifications, and project tendering, construction review and contract administration.

 

Mr. Cousins obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree from the University of Toronto in 1979 and completed the University of Toronto Building Science Certificate Program in 2008.  Mr. Cousins is a Designated Consulting Engineer and a member in good standing of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO), the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE), and the Ontario Building Envelope Council (OBEC).

Rocco Liscio, M.Eng., P.Eng.

Vice-President

Mr. Liscio has extensive industry experience in the fields of building science and materials engineering.  He has led capital planning, building assessment, materials testing and building rehabilitation projects for numerous public and private Clients for over 30 years while working at large Canadian engineering firms and as co-founder and Vice-President of Davroc.  

Mr. Liscio obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Ryerson Polytechnic Institute in 1981, a Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree from Queen’s University in 1983, and a Master of Engineering Degree from the University of Toronto in 1988.  Mr. Liscio is a Designated Consulting Engineer and a member in good standing of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO), the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE), and the Ontario Building Envelope Council (OBEC).

Sal Fasullo, C.E.T.

Vice-President

Mr. Fasullo has over 44 years of experience in the fields of concrete technology and materials testing. He has served on the board of Directors for the American Concrete Institute (Ontario Chapter) in 1993 and 1994, 1996 and 1997 and 2000 to 2003, and has participated on numerous ASTM and CSA technical committees in connection with concrete technology and related building materials.

 

Over the years Sal has provided his expertise on many high profile and technically challenging projects such as the CN Tower, Royal Bank Plaza, Scotia Plaza, BCE Place, the Bay Adelaide Centre, Simcoe Place, the Humber River Bridge Project and many more projects across North America where High Performance Concrete was utilized.  In addition, Sal has participated in the introduction of new advanced concrete testing systems such as Lok-Testing, Maturity Testing, Pulse Velocity Testing, Rapid Chloride Permeability Testing, Impact-Echo Testing, Chloride Ionic Diffusion Testing and many others.  Mr. Fasullo is a member in good standing of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT), American Concrete Institute (ACI) and the Ready Mix Concrete Association of Ontario (RMCAO).
